Guidelines on making approximately 1 gallon of apple cider vinegar.

5 large apples of your choice or scraps of 10 apples

Filtered water

1 cup raw, local honey or organic cane sugar

1 wide mouth gallon glass jar.

Cheesecloth or floursack cloth.

Large rubber band

Before you can make your raw apple cider vinegar, you must first make hard apple cider. The alcohol in the hard cider is what transforms via fermentation into acetic acid, which is the beneficial organic compound that gives apple cider vinegar its sour taste.
Wash the apples and coarsely chop into pieces no smaller than 1 inch. Cores, stems and seeds may be included.

Put the chopped apples into a 1 gallon, clean, wide mouth, glass jar. Please do not brew your apple cider vinegar in

stainless steel pots , as the acidic vinegar will causing leaching of heavy metals such as carcinogenic nickel.

The chopped apples should at least fill half the container and maybe a bit more. If at least half the container is not filled, add additional apple scraps until you achieve this level as a minimum.

Pour in room temperature filtered water until the chopped apples are completely covered and the container is just about full leaving a couple of inches at the top.

Stir in the raw honey or cane sugar until fully dissolved.

Cover the top of the glass jar with cheesecloth, a thin white dishtowel or floursack cloth and secure with a large rubber band.

Leave on the counter for about 1-2 weeks, gently mixing once or twice a day. Bubbles will begin to form as the sugar ferments into alcohol. You will smell this happening.

When the apple scraps no longer float and sink to the bottom of the jar after approximately one week, the hard apple cider is ready. If for some reason, the apple pieces still do not sink to the bottom after 2 weeks but the mixture smells alcoholic, proceed to the next step anyway.

Strain out the apple scraps and pour the hard apple cider into a fresh 1 gallon glass jar or smaller sized mason jars of your choosing.

Cover with a fresh piece of cheesecloth and secure with a rubberband.

Leave on the counter in an out of the way spot for an additional 3-4 weeks to allow the alcohol to transform into acetic acid by the action of acetic acid bacteria  A small amount of sediment on the bottom is normal. In addition, a mother culture will form on top

Taste your raw apple cider vinegar to determine if it is ready starting after 3 weeks. If it has the right level of vinegar taste for you, strain it one more time and store in clean, glass mason jars or jugs. If after 4 weeks, the taste still isn’t quite strong enough, leave it for another week and try again. If you accidentally leave it too long and the taste is too strong, just strain and dilute with some water to a level of acidity that pleases you.

Use as desired and store in the pantry out of direct sunlight.

Raw apple cider vinegar doesn’t go bad, but if you leave it for a long time, another mother culture will likely form on top. This is fine, just strain it again if desired and dilute with a bit of water if the taste has become too strong.
Hint: Your homemade batch of apple cider vinegar can be used not only in the kitchen, but also as a vinegar bath (2 cups per tubful) to greatly aid detoxification.

It can also be used to make a vinegar compress for sprains and bruises. This is what people used before ice was readily available, and raw vinegar works extremely well too!

Your skin type can change over time. For example, younger people are more likely than older people to have a normal skin type.

  1. WATER CONTENT , which affects your skin’s comfort and elasticity.
  2. OIL (LIPID ) CONTENT , which affect ur skin’s softness .

  3. Sensitivity level.

  1. NORMAL SKIN : Not too dry, not too oily. It has no or few imperfections, no severe sensitivity, barely visible pores, a radiant complexion.
  2. DRY SKIN : Almost visible pores, dull, rough complexion, red patches, less elasticity and more visible lines. When expose to drying factors, skin can crack, peel or become itchy, irritated or inflamed. If ur skin is dry, it can become rough and scaly, especially at the backs of ur hands, arms and legs.

  3. OILY SKIN : Enlarge pores, dull or shiny and thick complexion, black heads, pimples or other blemishes.

  4. COMBINATION SKIN : can be dry or normal in some areas and oily else where such as T-zone (nose, forehead and chin). It can produce overly dilated pores, black heads and shiny skin.

1) DEXFOLIATION- the art of not exfoliating regularly . Exfoliation opens the skin pores to allow penetration of ur skin care products.

2) IMPROPER APPLICATION. Try to use it right after a proper bath. Don’t just take a quick shower, ensure that dirt, sweat and grime that clog the skin pores are removed as you bathe so your cream really penetrates. Also, don’t mop up all the water from your skin after bathing, leaving some water on your skin allows the cream to absorb better.

3) SUN EXPOSURE. Too much exposure to the sun’s rays puts alot of strain on the skin and will hinder the effects of your cream from being visible, make sure your cream has adequate sun protection factor(SPF) of at least 15.

4) YOUR DIET. What are you stuffing up on? Eating right (fruits and vegetables and staying away from unnatural sugar) boosts your skin’s radiance from within. Oranges and apples especially, are loaded with powerful and natural anti-oxidants that helps prevent your skin’s collagen from breaking down.

5) IMPATIENCE. Creams that boasts of ‘instant results’ usually have harsh chemical components. It usually takes time for your skin to adjust and respond to the products. Try more natural based products instead and stop changing creams constantly.

6) BATHROOM ROUTINE. Please use a gentle cleanser or a beauty bar for your face instead of the regular bar soaps and try to use lukewarm water instead of cold water. It helps to keep your skin’s protective layer from being stripped away.

The time is always right to start up a business not minding the economic situation. Highly successful businesses have been set up both in best and worst economic times with huge success stories.

Expertise comes into play in Starting up a business as it will help the business survive crisis. It is always good to have an idea of the business you’re going into. One must not necessarily be a guru in the field before starting up, the main thing is to be ready and willing to learn the pros and cons of the particular business you wish to dive into. The expertise skills still boils down to the individual, someone might be willing to learn on the job while some other prefer to learn all the process before going into the business and this is exactly where passion comes into play. When you have passion for your business you will learn all the techniques fast.

How much do you have to start the business? This question is also a thing of the mind because when you have the right attitude towards your business the little you have will be able to start up something for you. I can boldly tell you that you that you can start a multi-level global business with as little as $150 to $500 only if you have the right attitude to business. And there are many professionals ready and willing to coach you on that. You can access my free you tube video on

Do not make the mistake of investing your time in a worthless venture, as there’s no free lunch anywhere. Avoid putting your money in a business where you have nothing to do except to come back and get your money doubled. It will profit you more to toil and reap the fruit of your labor joyfully than to dash out your hard earned money to scammers simply because you’re desperate to make money quick or lazy to carry out a simple task or greedy to reap where you did not sow.

Location is a point to consider when you’re setting up a physical shop for your business. Some things need to be put into consideration most especially the needs of people of that vicinity which might demand some business survey. With my level of expertise I will tell you that this is not a major problem for a pro in the business because he will use digital marketing tools to drive sells to wherever location his customers might request from. But for a starter which is the essence of this write up is good you secure a strategic location, tell your friends about it and use the social media to drive traffic to your shop. The needs of the people in that vicinity must be made a priority as a beginner because you’re not yet conversant with how to attract sells with the digital marketing tools which might equally cost you extra, so when your business meets to the needs of the people of that vicinity they automatically becomes your number one customers.

There is always the need to enhance your business with good facilities as this will add glamour to it. You use a radio jingle to create awareness, kind gestures will equally facilitate your customers for local business. The level of your promotion will determine the turn out of your customers.

Conclusively, let me remind you that consistency is the key to success in every business. Keep learning to enhance your expertise in the business, continue to reinvest your capital to expand as that is the joy of a successful business. From time to time build more on people’s needs, a continuous survey will help you achieve that. There’s a great need to water your garden for the crops not to wither, your business is like a garden water it by promoting it as you wouldn’t want to take chances and remember you’re not the only person in business and there is need to distinguish yourself.
Keep these factors in mind when starting up a business or even expanding your business plan. Always be positive to great ideas, sure you can easily identify ones that will add value to you. If there are other information which you feel will be necessary for starting up a business please share with us on the comment box as knowledge is acknowledged when shared.
